THE EXHIBITOR UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES IN FULL AS FOLLOWS, SET FORTH BY THE MAINE COMIC AND TOY CON, AND THE CROSS INSURANCE CENTER:

THE MAINE COMIC AND TOY CON will determine the placement of space. Special requests will be accommodated when possible!

Upon receipt of payment, THE MAINE COMIC AND TOY CON will assign space on a first paid, first serve basis, placement may be determined by traffic flow or other vendors.

Setup of tables must be completed by OPENING of con floor. Aisles must be kept clear for safety reasons.

EXHIBITOR will comply with all local, state and federal laws including the collection of sales tax. Information on tax can be gathered at Maine.gov

THE MAINE COMIC AND TOY CON reserves the right to make such additional rules as deemed necessary and EXHIBITOR agrees to such rules and their interpretation by THE MAINE COMIC AND TOY CON.

While THE MAINE COMIC AND TOY CON and the CROSS INSURANCE ARENA shall make reasonable efforts to provide security at the event, they are not responsible for the safety of any EXHIBITOR, its property, employees, visitors or customers from theft, disappearance, injury or damage by fire, accident or any other cause, and EXHIBITORS assume sole liability for any losses resulting from such causes. No insurance is provided for the benefit of exhibitors or their property. EXHIBITORS shall indemnify and hold THE MAINE COMIC AND TOY CON, CROSS INSURANCE ARENA and their affiliates harmless from any damages, losses or liabilities resulting from any claims, demands, suits or other actions based on or arising out of the exhibitor’s presence in the indoor and outdoor expo spaces or parking spaces.

If THE MAINE COMIC AND TOY CON is cancelled by Will Hesketh Jr or Jay Cochran for any reason, THE MAINE COMIC AND TOY CON’s sole responsibility to EXHIBITOR is to return any payments paid by EXHIBITOR, and neither shall have any further rights, obligations or liabilities to the other.

No refunds due to weather, absenteeism or any other reason. Remember, it IS Maine!

No pornographic, racial, or illegal merchandise to be displayed. Violation of this WILL result in vendor being asked to remove items from the VENUE. If vendor fails to comply to this they will be removed and banned from our events. THE MAINE COMIC AND TOY CON reserves the right to decide what is appropriate/ inappropriate material and may gather information from other vendors as well.

Nothing may be stuck into the walls at the CROSS INSURANCE ARENA.

If you purchased a 10×10 booth , up to 4 additional exhibitor badges may be purchased if needed. If you purchased an artist alley or makers market table, 1 additional exhibitor badge may be purchased. Badges may be purchased onsite during check or you may email mctcvendorinfo@gmail.com to pre-purchase. Please be sure to include the number of badges you would like to purchase. Additional badges are $10. Dealer badges must be worn at all times by any person working a booth. Badges may not be sold, loaned, or otherwise transferred to persons who are not working for you.

As per our terms and conditions, the transferring, reselling, or sub-licensing of tables or booths is not allowed. In the case of multiple parties sharing one exhibit space, the person whose name appears of this contract assumes full responsibility for that space.

In the event you want to cancel or withdraw from the exhibition, you may do so by giving written notice to BCTC, by certified mail, return receipt requested. The date of cancellation withdrawal or downsize in space as applicable shall be the post mark date on the notice. Cancellation 90 days or more before the date of the exhibition entitles you to a refund amounting to 50% of your total payment. If you cancel within 90 days or less of the exhibition date, you are not eligible for a refund. Please refer to the cancellation policy in the Terms and Conditions section of the BCTC Exhibitor application for further information.

All vendor/exhibitor tables, and their spaces, must remain intact throughout the entire show. Vendors shall not shut down, dismantle, and/or remove booth exhibit sooner than at closing of show, without express permission of promoters. Doing so will jeopardize the opportunity to participate in future events. If future spaces have been paid for, they also will be forfeited without refund and become the property of the MAINE COMIC AND TOY CON.
